Cool.

Uses real tough on-the-spot strategy. I'm hooked, yet I'm horrible at this game. I only got to level 2 (360 pts.) on normal. I might get better, the controls and animation are smooth and with a professional feel. I don't know what could be wrong with this, but it was fine from what I see.

It's almost as good as Cursors of the Future.

The only reason why it's not as good is cause of the sound (and partially the originality). Make the music loop and it will be better. The stars clips had me starring for a while too. I almost hated it until I relized that these were movable, and then I decided to continue looking at these. Good job. Hope to see more creative stuff next time, though.

ah, crap, forgot to make the music loop, too! god, im an idiot. thanks for the encouragement, and um, dont stare too long :P

Needs a little improvement.

Music and more detailed artwork. There is very little animation to this, so you have to make the images look better. It was a pretty good game overall, but it needs music (choice of music will be even better). I promise to vote higher next time if you make these improvements. It's a really good game: the strong foundation is set, you just need to put the stuff on it.

Man, this saved hours upon hours of research!

I use this more than the Macromedia Flash help menu. The frame by frame and actionscript were the most helpful to me. This tutorial will go down in Newgrounds history. Hopefully. This tutorial even covered the one bit of action script that NO ONE else apparently had, the else action. My games are now doable (but won't be done for at least a year for many reasons). Keep up the great work!

Thanks :D

You have to finish this, man.

Also, it needs play/replay buttons so that it doesn't just start without the player there. A pause button and music option will also add a nice touch to it. Finally, a larger range for aiming would help as well (allow it to either make 180-360 degrees without switching directions. That covers everything you would need to finish this and get good results. To get awesome results, add more animation (as in feet moving, stabbing motions, blood flying out when you're hit, and a few more sound fx). I know it looks like a lot, but it will be worth it.

I really want to play a full version of this!

This isn't so bad.

It needs to have some music, a background of somesort, and change it from Megaman to one of your own creations, more people will like it then, for sure. Also, some sort of boss would be fun too. Consider those for your next version.

You need to fix the controls.

The constant bouncing, in my opinion is annoying. Good choice of music and puzzles, but it needs improvement. More details, like a ball with shine marks, and more realistic backgrounds and objects. It will be much better once you do that.

Awesome!

The best part about this game is that you can die as much as you want without starting over. This game would be evil if you did have to start over. For the next one, try to add a way to save your progress so you can go back later (unless it's too short to matter).

Good game.

It resembles a real life arcade game. It's one of the few games that people actually spend time to get the feeling of gameplay that is wanted and to get the right amount of difficulty and everything. I'll definitely be playing this for a while!
